Hello my name is Ashley and I'm doing this go fund me in honor of my amazing dad. On July 6th 2024 we got the news that my dad has been diagnosed with throat cancer. The first part of this week we all learned that it is stage 4 and he needed immediate surgery to remove the cancer that had disintegrated his entire voice box. My dad has been hospitalized for almost a week now and will be for the time being. His wife Tammy and him live in colville,WA and he is located at sacred heart in spokane. With everyone's lives abruptly turned upside down in order to help my dad in any way possible Tammy has been going back and forth to and from colville to get go work and then come back to be by my dad's side. These two are so selfless in so many ways they recently even took on guardianship of their granddaughter, so yes they also have a five year old at home they are raising. I know that Tammy's love and determination to help my dad in anyway possible is nothing shy of amazing. If you can find it in your heart to help at all with costs of living and transportation and even making it possible for Tammy to be able to take a day off or two here and there so she can continue to be by my dad's side I know they would be forever grateful. These two are not the type of people to ever ask for help but instead help those around them in any time of need. With my dad unable to work for the Foreseeable Tammy is now taking on all the financial responsibilities I know that any little bit we can band together to help them with would take some of that burden off them in this time of need and would make a world of difference.
