On February 8 Th my sister Katie’s husband Brian was taken to the ER for excruciating shoulder pain. Turns out he had blew a hole in his intestine and needed Emergency surgery. He was given a Colostomy bag but he then ended up with fistulas ( infections in his stomach) that required another bag. Brian was in the hospital for 43 days. He was sent home with both bags and a week later he went Septic and ended up in ICU on life support for a second time. He spent 23 days in the hospital. Went home and a month later ended up in ICU on life support again. Brian has exhausted all his sick, personal and vacation time and Katie hasn’t worked because Brian needs 24/7 care basically. So Brian is getting admitted again on Tuesday August 1 st to get his strength up and to try to heal his Fistulas (anywhere from 2-4 weeks) then he will have his reversal surgery which would be anywhere from 6-12 weeks healing time and they have already gone 3 weeks with no paychecks. If anyone would like to help them out in this time of need it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!! If you know Katie you know she is one of the first ppl to help ANYONE out , be it man animal or whatever lol. Thank you all in advance
