Hi my name is Amber Cogoli and I am asking for your help for my brother Sean. As some of you know Sean Cogoli was in a horrific motorcycle accident on June 21st in Barre Massachusetts that nearly almost took his life. After leaving his sons middle school graduation Sean some how lost control of his motorcycle. He was catapulted 25 feet into the woods, over a creek, and hit a stone wall. He was taken to U Mass by ambulance where he spent the first week in the trauma center for his extensive injuries. Then three more weeks recovering in the hospital. Sean suffered a small brain bleed which luckily resolved itself, a fractured orbital, a broken tooth, at least 8 fractures in his ribs on the left side, a bruised lung, 2 fractured vertebrae, and a severely broken left leg. He has undergone 2 major surgeries on his leg to try and repair the damage with plates, pins, and screws. He has an extremely extremely long road ahead of him as he can’t bare any weight on his leg for months and then will have to learn how to walk again. If you know my brother, then you know how amazing he is. He’s a loving and devoted father of 4 children. He has worked in corrections for the State of Massachusetts for many years and held numerous positions in different facilities. He’s the kind of guy that is always there to help you when you are down. No matter what the circumstances are. I am asking for this help because as tough as Sean is I know he will need it. All proceeds will go directly to Sean to his ongoing medical expenses and to help him get through this incredibly difficult time. My hopes are he won’t have to worry so much and he can take the time he needs to heal his body.
