This isn’t something I ever thought I would have to do but, a few weeks ago my family received news that my little sister Alexandra had been murdered, leaving behind her two boys. Her fiancé has been charged currently based off the evidence. This is not something we ever thought we would go through but obviously everyone feels that way until it happens. Right now we’re just trying to do everything we can for Alexandra’s kids our nephews. My family is trying to relocate her two boys Lu and Mali from Kentucky back to Florida where most of our family is. My older sister Erin is a single mom and she is going to foster them. She has been a single mom for my nephew his whole life, she is a responsible woman but wasn’t prepared to take in two more boys but we want them with us so they can be with their cousins, aunts and uncles. We’re all going to help as much as we can but we would greatly appreciate any help we can get for my sister and the boys. My sister is giving up her room and has already set it up for the boys and she will be sleeping on the couch. She has always done the best she can for her son, always putting his needs first and wants to raise my sisters kids in memory of my litter sister Alexandra who we lost. We want to give them a good Christmas this year to help with the transition and to help my sister Erin with the financial change. The boys are ages 2 and 4, I don’t know what they know right now or if this has impacted them yet. We would appreciate any help we can get for our family in these hard times right now.
