Hello Everyone, my name is Fernando, and Emanuel is my 23-year-old brother-in-law, on May 19, 2024, we took him to the emergency room here in Sugarland Methodist due to severe lower back pain and feeling tired and weak. A couple of days later and after countless bloodwork and lab tests he was diagnosed with Stage 4 BURKITT'S LYMPHOMA. Unfortunately, Emanuel had to stop working his job as a waiter and completely stop playing his favorite sport "soccer" since the ER visit and had to move back home with my wife and me due to him feeling very tired. He was told by the doctors he could not be exposed to a lot of people or risk getting injured since his white blood cells were almost non-existent. We are doing the best we can taking care of him when he is not at Baylor St Lukes's Hospital undergoing intensive chemotherapy. He is finishing his first round of chemo this week and has about 4-5 more months. Every time he is admitted he is expected to be there for 14-16 days. We need any help to cover medical bills and want to show Emanuel that he is not alone and that there is always hope to Beat Cancer. Any and all donations no matter what amount will be truly appreciated by Emanuel and will help him cope and feel supported in this unexpected life change. Thank you very much...
