Hello, dear friends and compassionate souls. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My name is Heater Charmaine Ticzon-Belonio, and I am in a deeply challenging situation right now. Last March 2024 I received distressing news about my father's Clemenceau Ticzon’s, health that has shattered our lives. I am here to share our story and humbly request your support through a LFEBridge campaign. Together, we can provide the means for my father to fight against stage 4 lung cancer and give him a chance at life. Last March 2024, my father, who has battled diabetes, heart enlargement, hypertension, dyslipidemia, gastric ulcer, gout, atrial fibrillation, experienced a shortness of breath. Alarmed by these symptoms, he sought medical attention. To our devastating surprise, his doctor discovered something more sinister—a stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis, Metastatic adenocarcinoma of the lung. Most responsible diagnosis: Acute on chronic kidney injury. My father's health has rapidly declined since the diagnosis. He has lost weight, struggles to eat, walk or speak, and experiences excruciating upper, lower back pain, chest pain and abdominal pain. Additionally, he is grappling with significant emotional distress. The urgency of his situation necessitated immediate hospitalization, during which he underwent numerous invasive diagnostic tests. It was then that I learned the true extent of his condition. My dad came here in Canada last July 2024 as a Visitor to be with us his family as he’s living by himself back home in the Philippines for almost 9 years. As mentioned he’s status here is Visitor so he doesn’t have health card to help with his medical expenses. In this time of desperation, we suggested running a LFEBridge campaign to reach out to kind-hearted individuals like yourself. Through your support, we can raise the necessary funds to cover my father's medical expenses, including targeted therapy, hospitalization costs, and specialized cancer medications. Each donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to providing my father with the treatment he urgently needs.
