Hello, My name is Henry Dudley and I am setting up this platform on behalf of the family seeking monetary assistance for my Mother-In-Law Barbara Vankline (Swygert). "Mama" Barabara, as she is affectionally known, is a vibrant, independent and spontaneous soul who has battled and endured many obstacles in her lifetime and she has done so with a smile on her face and the wind at her back. However, today "Mama" Barbara is in the battle of her lifetime as she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer as well as Congestive Heart Failure. In most cases, this would be treated with Chemotherapy or radiation treatment. However, the heart condition has made it impossible for her to go through this treatment. To make matters worse, her employer terminated her while she was in the hospital due to her condition and has denied her the ability to receive unemployment as well as other post-employment benefits. Kimberly Vankline, her only child and sole caretaker, has been working feverishly to help care for her mom while she works through both medicinal and holistic treatments, donations will cover her holistic treatments, resources are running out and the red tape of attempting to apply for state-funded programs has proven to be unsuccessful. The family is humbly asking for assistance to help pay up her rent and other backed-up personal bills as well as skyrocketing medical expenses.
