* update 21st October. Thankfully Alexander is finally home and in recovery. I cannot thank everyone enough for your support. The funds have bought essential items throughout the last few months and helped with over 5000 miles of fuel costs in visiting him twice a day. Please be assured every penny of this money has and will be used to support Alexander. Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations which are very much appreciated. Over 6 weeks ago he went into a state of of psychosis. Myself and his brother Benjamin tried our best to help him at home with the help of the mental health home treatment team but after 2 weeks and taking 2 doses of an anti psychotic medication he became even unmanageable to the point he was a danger to himself and others. He is currently in an acute psychiatric ward 25 miles from home where he has been for over 3 weeks. This is not an ideal environment as there are 18 other patients , most of whom are very unwell. Alexander is the most beautiful and gifted human being. Everyone who knows him loves him. He has suffered with a sleep disorder for over 10 years which has affected him physically, mentally and emotionally. He was finally about to get a formal diagnosis but part of this involved wearing a wristband to monitor his sleep pattern for 2 weeks. This caused him to feel incredibly stressed and he was unable to sleep at all. We miss him so much and are trying to stay positive but know that he has long road to recovery ahead. We are fully committed to supporting him whatever that takes. I'm currently driving to see him twice a day and taking in home cooked nutritious meals as he has lost so much weight and looks fragile. I am begging from the bottom of my heart to give whatever you can to help. He is 30 years old and has a bright future ahead if he receives the right care. Please help us ❤
