Update from the brain surgery...the doctors had explained that brain surgery was needed due to swelling and bleeding the original plan was to remove a piece of the skull and put in a stent that would drain through the front of her skull to avoid infection they had explained that if that didn't work the way that they wanted it to that they would then also go in and cut out the pieces of brain that they explained were dead due to The strokes that she has had however they decided to do both during surgery so she had the stent put in and they had cut out some of the brain that was damaged during her strokes the doctor said that the surgery went well please continue to pray Update 4.26 pm 8/4/2024 ....she is now getting ready to be taken in for a third surgery this one is going to be on the brain please continue to pray Hello my name is Kelly I am creating this LFEBridge on behalf of my Niece Grace it will be her banking information that is attached to this account and the funds will go directly to her My sister her mother was in a horrific car accident two days ago she lost control of the vehicle and when she tried to gain control she couldn't the car flipped and she was ejected from the vehicle while my sister laid in the field after being ejected from the vehicle she had two strokes she was not breathing she has multiple broken bones severe deep lacerations fractured vertebrae my sister was life-flighted over 3 hours away where she is in critical but stable condition she has gone through numerous surgeries already she is on a ventilator my 18-year-old niece her daughter was given medical power of attorney and she has not left her mother's side at this time she's not able to because if my sister needs more surgeries or blood or anything medically my niece has to sign off on it we are being told that it will be at least 6 months before my sister is even able to leave the hospital at this point we are just asking for help for things like gas for Grace to be able to get back and forth food while she's in the hospital and to be able to pay the rent and bills for my sister's home so that she has a home to come back to Marie has two children a five-year-old little boy and my 18-year-old niece she's a single mother and she has always been the last one to ask for help even when she desperately needed it she has worked very hard to try to provide her children with a good life and at this point with everything that's going on the last thing that I want my niece my nephew or my sister to have to worry about is if they have a home to come back to or if my niece is going to be able to eat while she's there or have gas money to get back and forth to her mother anything and everything will help and even if you are not able to give financially please pray for Marie and her children all prayers are welcome and very much appreciated
