Hello, it pained me to have to use this as a resource to keep up with the cost of being in the hospital plus the loss of my income. As some of you might have known, I have been diagnosed with ESRD for 7 years now (End Stage Renal Disease) where I lost functions on both of my kidneys. I have been depending on daily dialysis treatments to get by since 2016. My living donor situation fell through and dues to extended timing on dialysis, I have been turned down for kidney transplant. My only hope is now to live one day at a time, doing what I love with my loved ones but just as with any chronic diseases, it does take a toll on my body. Many recent trips in and out of the hospitals, many surgeries and doctor appointments left me physically, emotionally and financially depleted.
