Sweet baby Grayson was born on June 24, 2024, surprising his parents, Diana and Eric and everyone else with his early arrival. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later he was diagnosed with a ventricular septal defect (VSD). VSD is a heart defect that is essentially a "hole in the heart" which in Grayson's case will require surgery to close. Grayson is currently hospitalized, most likely until he is cleared to have the surgery, and then for some time thereafter. The happy wonderful moments of becoming a family of three have quickly faded and have been replaced by exhaustion, stress, anxiety, and an overwhelming feeling of fear as Grayson fights through each day. As you can probably imagine, Grayson's medical bills are rapidly adding up and the unexpected amount of time that Diana and Eric will need to take off from work unpaid to be by his side is multiplying. We'd like to be able to help alleviate some of the financial worry so they can focus on Grayson's needs and taking care of themselves as they navigate this challenging journey.
