Hi, my name is Judy and the family, our brother in law Rafal is 54years old and has been involved in a serious, near death accident, was left on the street for 3h in the middle of the night with no medical attention as ambulance came 3h later. He broke his neck- 1st two bones ( atlas and axis) and require urgent, very dangerous and complicated surgery. Without these procedure he is not likely to return to mobility, but the treatment itself carries risk of paralysis, stoke, infections. If the surgery will be successful he will be lucky to regain up to 50% of his neck movements. On top of that there will be long, expensive journey to recover which will involve physiotherapy and other medical treatments. Apart of us 2 sister in laws, he doesn’t have anyone else here with him so we decided to start this fundraiser to help him cover some of the medial bills.
