Hi Everyone! My name is Starlyn Wilcox and I am fundraising to help my sister, Margie Lee & Phillip Lee, Sr raise the funds needed to care for their youngest son, Phil Lee, Jr. 43, of Greenville, Mississippi, as the result of a tragic traumatic brain injury. Little Phil was first flown by air medical service to Elvis Presley Trauma Center, in Memphis over a month and a half ago. Margie and Phil have been by his side and I do know Margie has been off of work this entire time. Phil has returned to Greenville to handle business. However, they do have a wonderful family that has offered their guest home or MIL’d quarters to them. What the point of all this is, I hope to explain the importance of trug to relieve some of the heavy burden on them. Little Phil had to have half of his skull removed due to a brain bleed, He was transferred to The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia last week, for LATC services that specialize in the rehabilitation of patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries. I do not feel like it would be classy to disclose what only we as a family should keep private. However, I know how humble Margie and Phil are and that they would never ask for help if they didn’t need help. I do know from being in healthcare for thirty years myself, healthcare has changed. Even after insurance pays, the portion out of pocket just after a month and a half could bankrupt a family. Not to mention, I cannot imagine being so concerned about my child and then having the financial burden to be able to care for them. Please keep the Lee Family in your prayers and consider adding Phil Lee Jr to your prayer lists at church. Please know that whatever you can give means so much to us as a family.
