Hello everyone, My name is Michael Paul. I would like you to please meet my brother Peter Paul. For those who don't know him, Peter is 45 years old (young) and recently received some very challenging and dire news about his health and life status. My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer on 7/18/23. He is currently being treated by the Edward-Elmhurst Hospital oncology team in Naperville, IL. While his medical treatment plan is still being fully developed by his clinical team, we do know that he will need to have an ongoing combination of radiation and chemotherapy treatment over the next 4-6 months given the spread and severity of his diagnosis followed by surgery to remove a 9 cm tumor in his rectum. With time and particularly over the next year, our family is praying that he makes a full recovery. My brother isn't currently able to work his full-time job due to his health status and he doesn't have any medical insurance for his treatment. He desperately needs financial support to afford his medical treatment and to help sustain him while he's out of work receiving treatment.
