Hello Fyre here! This year the prouder I’ve become in my blackness and my transness the more I've been pushed out of cis white spaces. I would not change a thing! I was fired from my salon job this week, the last week of Pride. After enduring continual degrading language that only black queers can fully understand, disguised as “compliments” from an all Caucasian cis female staff. After being fired from my last salon via a restraining order issued by my ex husband on MLK day… I’m more than shaken. As I look for new employment I’m seeking community support to aid in my and Pearls expenses. I’m eager to return your generosity with some extra fiery upcoming performances and continuing to live and love! Black, Trans & Queer 365
