Thank you so much for viewing my fundraiser. I'm a content creator who, as of now, primarily streams on TikTok while also making content such as regular TikToks and YouTube SHORTS. However, I am very restricted in the content I can create with the current PCs I have (one for streaming, one for editing) due to their very limited specs and abilities which obstruct me greatly from optimising my creation structure and speed, as well as making me unable to create certain content at all. The problems they cause include: Limiting me greatly to how many (and which) platforms I can stream to. I can only really stream to TikTok as of now but with a greater PC, I could stream to TikTok, Twitch, Kick and more all at once, immensely helping my discoverability and self-promotion. Plus it would allow me to stream and record in full-screen formats, as TikTok is portrait form and cuts off 2/3 of the screen. Stopping me from recording my streams as I do them, preventing me from taking those streams and making other content with them, such as YouTube videos, further impacting my discoverability, self-promotion and all round creation. Causing the editing process for videos to be extremely slow, due to my PC not being able to process the footage properly in the editing software. This causes A LOT of lag and slow load times with the preview footage and also causes the software to crash A LOT. Meaning I need to re-open it and also risk losing progress. It takes me on average 4 hours to edit one 20 second video due to these reasons. Limiting what things I can actually make content on, as I can't use my PC to game or watch/check things online with my browser while streaming, due to the reasons mentioned above with lag, crashes etc. My PCs simply can't handle multiple things being open at once. All this means I'm limited to streaming whatever games I have on a console and nothing else, hindering the variety, range and creativity of my content. Because I have to split the job of streaming and editing between two separate systems, there is a lot of downloading, sending and importing of files, videos and other content. Plus, always having to move apparatus such as mics and cameras between both PCs back and forth. This seems like a smaller issue, however, having everything I need in one place and on one system would eliminate all these processes completely, further adding to the massive time I could be saving when creating. Solving these problems, as well as others, would massively improve upon the content I can create, as well as the speed, variety and quantity at which I can produce it. My TikTok LIVE streams, despite being only 2 months old (as of July 2024) have already shown signs of great potential and success. I have usually averaged between 100 - 150 viewers and even hit peaks as high as 600. I've even had donations kindly sent to me on my streams, all of which also go towards the PC. The problem, however, is only 50% of those donations actually reach me, leading to the amount I make barely cracking enough to buy shopping for the week, nevermind saving up for a top-range PC system. I'd also like for the hard-earned money my viewers and others generously send me to go where they actually intend it to, hence my creation of this page. The content on my TikTok page has also seen great success with videos reaching as much as 2.2 million views and usually getting a minimum of 10k. I also have a fantastic community of supporters who grow by the day, shown by regular viewers and a Discord, which within those 2 months, has garnered a massive 115+ members and counting. All of whom show great interest in seeing more content from me on different platforms. I am aware and appreciate completely that content creation is not something that success occurs with overnight and takes a lot work. And know full well it goes beyond how high tech your set-up is. I do feel however, that with the level of success and size of community I have garnered in such a short time, shows the potential my content and "brand" has. Therefore, with your help, I could: Immensely speed up the process of acquiring the facilities that would allow me to vastly optimise the entire process and volume of my content creation. Expand hugely on the variety, range and reach of my content, giving me many different opportunities to grow more than I have already and do so significantly faster.
