Hi there, my name is Jennie and I'm raising money for my dad, Pat Wynn, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. He has an 11 cm tumor attached to his sternum between his heart and lungs. The doctors are requiring him to go through chemotherapy and radiation as a result. Our family is absolutely devasted by this news especially since my mother recently completed her own battle of breast cancer, chemo, and radiation only short 6 months ago. Never in a million years did we expect this to happen. My dad is my everything, and my best friend. He is the happiest, loving, caring person you would ever meet, and he's so deeply loved by everyone in our lives. My dad is the most amazing person to walk on this planet and I can't imagine life without him... Unfortunately, his health insurance is not the best. The deductible is $9,000 before anything is covered. That is an absurd, inexcusable amount of money that my parents cannot afford. Please explain, how is that considered as insurance? Having one parent with cancer is hard enough, never mind two. My sister and I love our parents more than life. They gave us everything they had growing up, and now it's our turn to return the favor. We want our dad to receive all the treatments he needs to get better without any financial stress, especially since he won't be able to do his normal job for a long time. If you don't mind, please donate any amount you can. Any and every amount is highly appreciated. Our goal is $11,000. $9,000 for the deductible, and $2,000 for any extra costs such as medications, doctor visits, or unexpected surprises. We are praying for a physical and financial miracle by 7/11/23--that is the day before his next doctor's appointment. My sister and I's dream is to surprise him the day before his appointment with the money raised so he can release all of the worries and stress about the deductible. It would be a literal dream come true. Thank you so much, and God Bless y'all <3
