On Saturday the 26th of August at the Curragh, myself and 14 other riders are taking part in the Pat Smullen charity race in aid of cancer trials Ireland. No matter who you are, no one is unaffected by cancer. Be it family members, friends or your own battle, it affects us all. I myself have a strong family history of the illness with both of my grandmothers having battled cancer. I am riding in this race in memory of them and also in support of everyone around Ireland battling this devastating disease. I hope that my fundraising efforts can make a difference to many of these lives and with the great work of cancer trials Ireland, I’m sure it will. I would be delighted if you would be able to donate to this great cause and hope to see you there on the day.
