Hi, my name is Fergus Lawlor and I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of Cancer Trials Ireland CLG by taking part in the Pat Smullen Charity Race which takes place in the Curragh on August 26th. I am honored to take part in the race and hope to raise as much money as I can for this worthy cause. Please can you help me to make a difference? Every single donation will help. This charity is very close to my heart. This time last year my father was diagnosed with cancer. I am doing this race for him. He is thankfully doing well now but others are not so lucky. I have suffered losses in my extended family over the years to cancer and have a close friend battling the disease at the moment. I think we all know somebody that has been affected by cancer. Cancer Trials Ireland is of vital importance in promoting research and helping to prolong and improve cancer patients' lives.
