As most of you know, our mother was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer six years ago. It was Stage I and she underwent a lumpectomy, hysterectomy, and had months of radiation. Last fall, we were overjoyed to celebrate her 5 years cancer free! Unfortunately, on 10/23/15 our mother was diagnosed once again with Breast Cancer; this time it is Stage III. While we are devastated at this news we are ever confident in her strength and determination to beat cancer a second time! The treatment approach will be a more aggressive in efforts to overcome the more aggressive tumor. Our mother will first undergo a mastectomy and then chemotherapy. We ask for your monetary contributions to assist with her medical and other bills during her treatments. The mastectomy will put her out of commission for about six weeks. The chemotherapy is estimated to last 4-5 months. We are new to 'Go Fund Me' and will try to post updates here as well as a page (yet to be created) where you canleave messages, sign up for meals, and offer other help during this time.
