The daughters of Pam Rohac are raising funds to help continue our mom's fight against Stage 4 Metastatic Small Cell Lung Cancer. Our mom has been a resident of and realtor in Vacaville, CA for over 45 years. She’s also a grandmother to four grandchildren who desperately want to keep her in their lives. 2024 hit our family like a ton of bricks. After suddenly experiencing severe breathing issues on January 3rd, Pam went in for a CT scan, in addition to a series of other tests over the ensuing several weeks. On February 1st, Pam was diagnosed with Stage 4: Small-Cell Lung Cancer. It is metastatic cancer. This means the cancer has spread from its point of origin making it impossible to fully remove the cancer. Her best outcome is living with cancer. Shortly after starting her aggressive treatment plan with chemotherapy, Pam’s husband’s (our dad) health sharply declined. It was sudden and unexpected and we soon learned that he, too, had cancer. Unfortunately, the type of cancer could not be specifically identified in time to be given a medical plan. Our dad passed away on March 30, 2024. Pam has completed Chemotherapy and, so far, her scans show improvement. Although she is proceeding with Immunotherapy, due to its high level of toxicity, we cannot continue to pursue conventional methods to fight her cancer.
