I have started this Go Fund account for my sister Rhonda Drake to ease her recovery from a partial lung removal and subsequent chemo treatments to treat her lung cancer. In March of 2024 at the age of 67, the doctors informed her that she had lung cancer and recommended a partial lobe removal. Rhonda went through Lower Left Lung Lobectomy surgery on May 11th and spent 6 days in ICU at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette CO. Drs have suggested and she has started her 12 weeks of Chemo treatment to continue attacking any remaining cancer. Her treatments will leave her physically, mentally and of course emotionally drained and unable to return to her job for the time being, if at all. This is Rhonda’s second time fighting cancer as she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, which resulted in a positive outcome after a double mastectomy and very aggressive Chemo treatment. We have the utmost faith and confidence that she will be able to beat this disease a second time!!! Rhonda had to step away from her job in March to deal with this health crisis, since then she has seen what savings, she did have slowly dwindled to stay afloat. We are extremely grateful for any amount donated to her cause as it will 100% benefit her and allow her to concentrate on recovery, while not having to worry about how her bills will get paid. We have set a goal of $20,000 to help offset her home and medical bills for the remainder of the year. Thank you for your generosity. Juliana Drake-Lawrence
