Hi. My name is Katina and I’m starting this LFEBridge on behalf of my parents Frances and Matt Jones for medical expenses. My parents have been together for 19 years and married for 18 years.They didn’t ask for this LFEBridge but it could be very helpful. Last week on July 1st she went to the ER and was admitted for severe pancreatitis. Unfortunately the hospital she was at treated her pretty badly. There was hardly communication between nurses and doctors and they released her prematurely. She was sent home on Monday with meds and told to find a specialist on her own. She was still in visible pain, as well as having labored breathing that continuously got worse. Thursday I started to get really concerned and wanted her to be seen but based on her care at the first hospital she was hesitant to go back to the hospital. Saturday night she finally caved and my dad took her to the ER. Within 3/4 hours of being there my mom was put on a ventilator. We have not been able to talk to her since and it has been the absolute worst feeling. She’s currently in the medical ICU being their most critical patient on the floor. My dad is an electrician and the provider of this family, he will need some time off of his second job to be able to be with my mom in the evening after working his electrical job. As of now we just know a machine is breathing for our favorite lady and realistically this all could’ve been avoided had the first hospital done their job. anything helps in this time, even if you can’t donate please mention her in your prayers.
