For those of you who know the Wilson Family, you know what an inspiration they are to all of us. The strength that they have and the love that they show to everyone around them is truly amazing. As many of us know, they have been through so much over the years. It's hard to even put in words what to say...many of us followed their daughter, Sarah's, journey on the page they created, Slow Steady Strong, as she ultimately joined our Father in Heaven where I am sure she is just dancing to this day! Mary, James and the rest of the family continued to be a testimony to God's love and for me personally, really touched me to the core. I have known this family since Sarah and I were kids and they are beautiful, loving, selfless, loved by so many, and the list goes on! Recently, Mary has come to some medical issues of her own. As she has strongly been fighting through the chemo for her cancer, she hit a big bump in the road. On July 26th, Mary had a cardiac heart rate emergency. They had to stop her heart 3 times and then had a major colon diversion surgery which included an ostomy bag. She is now unable to work; James will have some Social Security, but Mary's income with stop. They have so much to fight through going forward with PT, home health, medical supplies and so on. We know times are hard for everyone right now, but if anyone has anything they can help to contribute to their family it would be so much appreciated. This whole family has my heart and always will. They have been a true light in this world and their love for God through everything is a true testimony to all. Despite what they have going on, Mary has always been just a text away for me; checking in on me, my family, praying, offering encouragement, ect. I hope we can all do the same for them in anyway we are able! Even if you can just share this story, that would be amazing! I pray for this family for healing and strength and for so much more!
