Operation Jewish Summer Camp I am building a program that I call “Operation JSC.” It’s intended to bring Israeli children, whose at least one parent is an active officer in the IDF, to experience a Jewish summer camp in the US for 3-4 weeks. I’m in the process of finding a larger entity to take me under their wings hopefully before next summer, but this summer I’m running a pilot of my project. I’m bringing Nadav, a very sweet 11 year old boy whose father has served in the front lines of the IDF for over 20 years. The cost of bringing one child is approximately $4000 and I’m reaching out to some like minded people who perhaps would like to help me sponsor Nadav this summer.If you want to help me with Operation JSC any help would be much appreciated :-)Ironically I noticed by pure chance (or is it) that the name Nadav comes from the same root as the word nedava in Hebrew, which translates to donation…so do a mitzvah and donate to this amazing cause!Have a wonderful day,Shai
