The tragedy that occurred during  OSU's Homecoming Parade has hurt our entire state and left four families without members of their family and numerous others fighting for their lives. We Okies want to do something and hope this  helps those families with a small bit of comfort as they deal with the loss or injuries of their loved ones as well as funeral, cemetery or medical bills.  We will pay for funerals first and for anything else we can raise, we will distribute to those injured.Update (11/11/15): here are the funds we are donating the proceeds to in the following manner-->Dr. Marvin Stone Endowed Scholarship Fund (for both of the Stones as the family set up no funds beyond this that we can locate) set up by OSU to honor these two faculty--1/2 of all funds received"We Remember Nash," a go fundme set up to support the mother of Nash --1/4 of all funds receivedStillwater Medical Center Foundation Partners will take 1/4 of all funds received and will be earmarked for the fourth victim's family in India under her name Nikia NakalAny donation--whether its $5 or $5000 or anywhere in between--helps. We raise money to show the victims and their families that though Okies may live as many (some crimson, some blue), for now we stand as one ORANGE family.P.S.  LFEBridge wanted to make sure this is legit so here's a little more information. I'm the organizer--Rania Nasreddine--a lifelong resident of Tulsa,  attorney, community volunteer, and offspring of a Cowboy (my dad was a hotriculture graduate of OSU).  As we don't know all of the victims; yet, I cannot say I know any personally, BUT all funds will be distributed equally to contacts for the victims to first cover funeral expenses. To get money to those in need, we will contact the Stillwater Police Department's victim clearinghouse to obtain contact information for the funds disbursement. If you have any questions, please message me.
