Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers… We’ve got some news to share about everyone’s favorite little dude, Oliver Maxwell. The universe threw his family a curveball when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in early June. But we know Oliver and the family will not be backing down. Oliver is a fighter, and we are here to support him. We need your incredible support to make it happen. Oliver has always been a curious, smart, and caring kid. He loves playing with his little sister, exploring science, and making friends with everyone he meets. His smile is infectious, and his heart knows no bounds. In early May, Oliver began experiencing loss of appetite, nausea, headaches, and unusual fatigue, leading to several incorrect medical consultations. After a CT, the family’s worst fears were confirmed - a brain tumor was discovered. Oliver’s journey to conquer this cancer is a long and arduous one. He has already undergone 2 emergency brain surgeries as well as two additional surgeries to place a shunt and port. He will undergo a series of chemotherapy & radiation treatments to fight this aggressive disease beginning in August. While the road ahead may be challenging, Oliver’s resilience and the unwavering support of Sophie, Bibian, his sister, friends, and the medical team give us hope.
