Hi, my name is Fred and I am starting a GoFund for my sister's mother-in-law. It has been a couple of weeks since her mastectomy (Stage 2A) operation and she's focused on getting better. It seems that her chemo (8 sessions) took a toll on her immune system. She is responding well to the treatment and medication but her surgical wound is taking its time to heal. She had to go to the hospital earlier this week to get it drained a second time after her operation. Earlier today, she was given the breakdown of expenses for her much-needed radiation therapy, CT scan and other necessary procedures to hopefully eliminate the cancer cells from her body. It broke her heart as she did not expect the cost to be more than what they paid for her operation. Her chemo sessions, medications, supplements and operation costs already took a toll on her family's financial situation. My sister and her husband are doing their best to find ways to help and alleviate the problem but it is still not enough. They have been using every resource they can. On behalf of us and Nikky, we would like to ask for your prayers and assistance. She still has to go a long way coupled with overwhelming medical expenses. Our goal is to help her get back to her feet again completely healed of cancer and relieve some of the financial burden. We ask if you could donate to help Nikky in her fight against cancer.
