Hello, for those of you who do not know me, my name is Jessica. I am the older sister to Nicole. If I had to describe Nicole in one word I would use the word fighter. For those of you who know my sister Nicole, you know the fight she has gone through the last two-three years. She had a successful thyroidectomy after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Fast forward to now, she has another fight ahead of her. Earlier this year Nicole was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma grade 3 stage 3 (a form of breast cancer). She underwent a mastectomy of her breast in June 2024, just when we thought her fight was done, we got more news that the cancer has spread. Her treatment plan includes 4 months of chemotherapy, 25 rounds of radiation and then potentially more surgeries. With this being said, I am creating this go fund me to help support my sister financially. The money raised will go towards her medical treatments for the foreseeable future and the extensive out of pocket expenses that Nicole will have to cover. If at the end of all her treatment and expenses there is money left over, we will be donating the rest to cancer. As hard as it is for her to be going through her cancer battle, she’s also figuring out financially how to pay for all the things needed. With this being said, if financially you are not able to support her, we are always welcoming positive thoughts, prayers, and comfort as we know this is also extremely important during this time. Anything helps, even your positive thoughts. The one thing Nicole wants to really do alongside of fight her cancer battle, is to raise awareness for young women. She wants to bring awareness to the fact that cancer does not target a certain age category, she wants to advocate to all young women to listen to your body and push for the tests you want. Being 26, she fought for the tests and the mammograms, and we are so glad she did.
