On June 21st Nicole and Khans son Finn was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Leaving them asking many question like how did this happen? They found a specialist who did very detailed blood working finding that his diabetes was due to a virus that has embedded in his pancreas. Within the same month his mother Nicole was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Nicole has worked with women for 10 years on hormonal issue and being an incredibly healthy and active mother of two was surprised by this. It is confirmed her Hashimoto’s has been activated by the same virus attacking her sons pancreas. With two massive autoimmune diseases that leave most with no real path to healing we have found a doctor and group of western/eastern doctors who believe the path to healing is possible for both Nicole and Finn. Insurance does not cover these and it is important Nicole gets the treatment she needs in order to stay healthy and strong to continue to fight for her son and now herself. She is traveling back and forth with her two children between Upstate, NY and Los Angeles over the next few month and the family is asking for help and support during this hugely expensive financial curveball. Childcare, medical bills, and travel costs. Additionally there is a lot of therapies for their home they need to be doing daily ideally we would love to raise money for. While this is an experience and hard time for them the knowledge gained and experience will lead to a lot of healing for others as Nicole plans to expand her practice and work with people struggling with a wide range of disorders. The knowledge gained curing these diseases will be invaluable to others when she is well enough to begin working again. Thank you so much for your love and support.
