Hi, my name is Nicole, I'm raising money for my sons medical expenses. Daniel is 19, just turning 20, and has been diagnosed with ureteropelvic junction. We just found out that he was born with this blockage from his kidney to the ureter, which is the tube that carries the urine to the bladder. Daniel's kidney can't process fluid hardly at all. Plus he's in tremendous pain. We have a doctors consultation on the 25th of July and will hopefully be scheduled for surgery during that appointment. This surgery is very urgent because without proper kidney function Daniel will develop sepsis and then he will pass away. Due to Daniel's diagnosis he has lost his job and is unable to work during this time. We're having trouble having the money to pay bills, food and gas money to get him to his appointments. Plus his Medical insurance runs out at the end of this month and I'm still unsure if we're going to be able to get his surgery covered. If you know Daniel then you know how talented, funny, and what a big heart he has. Daniel is a very loving son, brother and a great friend to have. He's barely eating or drinking right now. As his family were pulling all of our resources but have fallen very short unfortunately. As things stand right now I won't have the gas to get him to his appointment on the 25th of this month. If you can help, I would be ever grateful. My kids are my life, as I'm sure every parent knows.
