With my mom having recently undergone knee replacement surgery, their situation has become even more challenging. My brother's life has been drastically impacted by multiple sclerosis, a relentless disease that affects the central nervous system. His condition has deteriorated to the point where he requires constant care and assistance with daily activities. Simple tasks that most of us take for granted have become monumental challenges for him. He is completely wheelchair-bound and in need of 24-hour care. Despite his condition, my brother remains positive, determined, and full of life. My mother has been an incredible caretaker, devoting herself entirely to my brother's needs and sacrificing her health to lift, pull, push and feed my brother. However, her recent knee replacement surgery has severely limited her mobility and ability to provide the care he requires. She is currently unable to move freely, let alone assist my brother with the round-the-clock attention he deserves. We are committed to supporting her recovery, but in the meantime, we desperately need assistance to fill the gap left by her temporary inability to care for my brother. We are seeking your generous support to hire a full-time nurse and professional caregiver who can provide the necessary medical attention, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities for the next few months.
