Hello, my name is Jacob Blackman and I am a student at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina where I am pursuing two bachelors degrees in Biblical Studies and in Biblical Languages. I am a sophomore now and although I know that I would like to do vocational ministry, I am not sure in what way yet. This winter break instead of going home to Texas I wanted to spend my time overseas on the mission field for a brief time and experience what mission work is like. I have the opportunity here to serve for 4 weeks in Turkey and work with a missionary there to do whatever it is that he needs done. If the money is raised then this will provide for air fare and lodging whilst I am in Turkey and altogether sustain me in my time there. Unfortunately my dead line is approaching quickly and I will need the money to be raised by December 1st. It would mean so much for me to be able to share the gospel overseas in a time such as Christmas especially in a place so effected by the refugee crisis.I believe that God can use you to raise money for me, and for this I am so grateful.
