Hi My name is John Rakebrandt. I started a journey on the wellness track of my lifetime recently. On 4/27/23 I received a gastric sleeve surgery with major complications to follow. Since then, everyday I’ve been fighting an uphill battle to regain my health. Ive had two additional surgical procedures, still with uncertainty of my out come. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to to eat, drink or even taste anything by mouth for over 3 months. All of my feedings are given through a Central Line Tube in my Artery. Im a very proud person who has always taken care of my family, However, this has knocked me down and I’m trying to get back up. Medical and Household Expenses are now jeopardizing my families livelihood. I’ve dedicated my 28 year long nursing career to taking care of others. My career continues to focus on helping those with intellectual and Alzheimer’s/Dementia needs. This is my passion and I can’t wait to get back to it.
