Hi friends, I am humbly asking for financial aid in my time of need. I require medical treatment, have no savings left to cover rent or food, and can't afford to pay for it all. In mid-January, I began to suffer constant stabbing needle-like nerve pain within my skull due to an impacted wisdom tooth infection. This went on for two months until my botched dental surgery in March. 2 hours nightly sleep for 3 months, 4 months of infections, and 5 courses of antibiotics have resulted in a recently diagnosed severe MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) infection in my ear. I can’t hear out of my right ear & bleed from it regularly. Doctors have warned that if this is left untreated, it could lead to a brain abscess, facial paralysis, inflammation around the brain, cancerous cysts, or sepsis. I’m unable to brush my teeth, eat, drink, or speak without feeling pain, and sleep is often impossible. For 11 months, I’ve been dealing with a combination of illnesses which have derailed my livelihood. Besides the MRSA, I suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome, what I believe is an undiagnosed case of endometriosis, and digestive issues. A doctor had recommended that I undergo a colonoscopy urgently, another expense I’ve been unable to afford for years. I’ve tried NHS doctors, and private doctors - both of which have been bad experiences, and left me out of pocket. Following many appointments, medications, and flights, this has been a very expensive process - one which my partner, who also suffers from long-standing illnesses himself, cannot afford on my behalf. Countless doctors over the years, yet my health is in decline. With your help, repair can begin! I’ve been away from America in an attempt to find better care, but will return in order to meet my green card requirements, and hopefully achieve citizenship whilst there - an expensive but necessary process which could lead to healthcare and safe housing. It’s a hard time for everyone, but I really want to live.
