I’m not one to ask for donations or use this kind of resource but when we are faced with a life altering situation, I’ll do whatever it takes! Any donation helps! We have learned that in the state of NC, if the persons insurance coverage is the state minimum, they are only required to pay $30,000. Which only covers about 2-3 days in ICU. The reality of this situation is they will have bills to cover unfortunately, even though my dad is not at fault at all. Please read my dads story! His testimony and journey is amazing! This is truly a miracle!My dad, my best friend, was in a horrible accident Tuesday, June 20. He was hit by a car driving his scooter. He was flung off the scooter, rolled onto the hood of the car, and slid on the asphalt. He suffered paralysis on impact. The police reports stated he was 16.6 feet away from his scooter. He never lost consciousness and has no brain damage! Praise God! The day after the accident, we were told he does in fact have a spinal cord injury. His spinal cord is not severed which is amazing! He had surgery on his neck to put a rod and screws. The surgery took about 5 hours. He was in ICU for 14 days then moved to the step down unit for a week and is now in rehab. This is going to be a long road ahead but he is still with us! God has blessed us in so many ways and we know he has his healing hands on my dad! My dad is the true definition of a hero and a warrior! If you could please just say a prayer for him and his healing, we would forever be grateful! Gods timing is perfect and we trust him! ❤️
