Kadian is my sister-in-law and has been married to my brother Tyler for 5 years. She lives in Jamaica with her three children, Aleisa, JT and Taymar. Since they were married, they have been working on getting Kadian and her three children to Canada to build a life together here with Tyler. However, COVID closed many doors financially, along with current Immigration issues in Canada, Kadian and the children's ability to come into Canada has been severely affected. Added to that, Kadian has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer as of April of this year and underwent surgery to remove her thyroid in June. There is no universal health care in Jamaica and so Tyler and Kadian had to contribute to the cost of the surgery. She has just been told that she will require radiation, there is only one hospital that does this treatment and the patient must pay the cost of the treatments upfront before they will begin. The cost is $8,000. This is a lot of money to come up with all at once, especially considering everything that has happened during and after Covid, and so I am asking for help for them so she can have the medical care that she needs and be on her way to a clean bill of health and hopefully soon, a new life in Canada and so she can continue to be the wonderful mother to her children that she is. Any help that you can give will be so greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
