Whitland Junior Borderers along side close friends have made the decision to run a ‘go fund me’ page for Morgan John. Morgan was involved in a horrific car accident last week and was airlifted to Cardiff. He sustained life altering injuries; a shattered femur, broken back and other internal injuries. Morgan faced a gruelling 11 hour operation to insert plates and rods. He was then rushed back to theatre later that evening with internal bleeding. Morgan is still in a critical condition, and his body needs time and rest to repair its self. Morgan played rugby for WJB, his Dad Mark was a coach and Morgan’s Grandad Barrie Proctor played a massive massive role within Whitland RFC. Morgan’s parents are unable to stay by his side 24/7 and are only allowed to visit at certain times of the day. When they are not sat at his bed side they are sat in the car, or in a hotel trying to get some sleep. The family are not looking for sympathy or charity. The sole purpose of this fund is to help the family with travelling expenses, hotel costs etc as Morgan is on the Major Trauma Unit in the Heath Cardiff. All money raised will be given to the family and any money not needed will be donated to the Welsh Air Ambulance for the amazing work and care they gave to Morgan. Please as a community can we pull together at this difficult time to support the family. The family would like to thank, the Welsh AirAmbulance, the Emergency Services who attended the accident as well as all the amazing Nurses and Doctors taking care of Morgan in hospital. Thank you, Whitland Junior Borderers.
