We are Nia (Bwts)’s family and this is the story behind the first fundraiser in her memory. Back in 2017 when Nia was training for the Moonwalk Scotland, she found herself struggling to breathe. This made her seek medical help, where unfortunately she got later diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Unfortunately she had to stop her training and was unable to carry out the moon walk, a charity walk to raise money for cancer. As a family we have decided to finish that walk for Nia; and will be making the journey up to Edinburgh to cross the finish line in Nia’s memory. Nia battled her lung cancer for 5 years and never once complained about it. It’s only right as a family we battle the moon walk on her behalf. Please help support her daughters, mum, nieces, sister in laws and friends who will be representing TEAM BWTS in September.
