Now in existence for over four years, the Monongalia County Juvenile Drug Court continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings in the community. We hope that you will be able to support us during this expansion. It is our mission to provide a cooperative effort of the juvenile justice, social service, law enforcement, and education systems in the county. This program seeks to divert non-violent juvenile offenders exhibiting alcohol or substance abuse behavior from the traditional court process to an intensive, individualized treatment process. The goal is to reduce future court involvement for these youth. In order to meet our mission and provide services in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to serve those in our community each year. These funds will go towards computers and tablets for educational services to assist with the tutoring services West Virginia University has provided our youth, training for staff to keep up to date with the latest treatment modalities, to provide youth with positive alternative activities to substance abuse, and to help pay for treatment services for the youth and families we serve. THIS DONATION WILL IN NO WAY PAY FOR WAGES OF STAFF MEMBERS! Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size. We are in the process of establishing our 501 (C) 3 status and a donation receipt will be mailed to you immediately upon meeting this requirement when you provide your mailing address upon donation. Thank you for your support!Monongalia County Youth Improvement Team
