Hey friends and family! I have some exciting news to share. Before I go into this, I want to share a bit about our story. Me and Gevontay were working, serving at church and building our little home in Salford. In summer of 2024, me and Gevontay both started sensing that we need to take a 2-month sabbatical and spend intentional time in prayer and seeking after God’s will for our lives. So many things were happening, and our lives were so busy, going at 1000 miles per hour. We knew it was a time of total surrender and full consecration. Our sabbatical season allowed us to hear God and give Him reign over our season and our future. Shortly after our sabbatical, in Sept 2024, God had completely abrupted my life. He gave me a dream and when I woke up from it, I could not make much of It but I knew our lives were going to be different. God was calling us higher and deeper. Things started shaking. Things became very unsettled in different areas of my life. I was no longer comfortable with where I was at. That is when me and Gevontay started sensing that God was doing something very unusual, not just in our individual lives but in both of our lives as a couple. It was a very intense time of yielding to God and clinging onto His word and His garment so we wouldn’t miss out on what He was doing. God was asking us to lay down everything so He could do something new in us. He asked us both to lay down our jobs, then to lay down our church and community we have known for years and moved us to another church family, and then the final thing was to give up our house, sell and give away all our possessions. It was a season of total stripping away until only Jesus was left to cling onto. Now 12 months later, after everything, we are only now beginning to settle in after ten million transitions. He wants to shake every idol, every lover, any misplaced identity and misplaced trust in our lives. He wants His children to fully depend on Him for absolutely everything and live in complete unity with the Father. He has been faithful through it all. Following Jesus will cost you everything, but in exchange you receive the greatest reward, which is knowing Him personally. This is the Good News. After many conversations with God and confirmations, I know it is time to go on a mission trip and bring the gospel to the nations. So now, I have this opportunity to partner up with Jeremy Nelson’s ministry called Elisha Revolution from San Diego. We are going to Zimbabwe in September to preach the gospel, feed the poor and serve our brothers and sisters on the other side of the world. My heart is for the lost, broken and unreached and for them to encounter one true living God who can save and transform lives. I am setting up a fundraiser to help me reach the goal of £3134. Any giving is a blessing, and it will help to expand the Kingdom of God. I am stepping out in faith that God will meet every need and it would be amazing if you could partner up with me either financially or in prayer.
