Hi everyone!My name if Gracie Chapman and I’m asking with hope and prayer for assistance from my community to raise money for my beautiful mom, Jay Rivers. Jay is the strongest woman I will ever know. She’s fought battle after battle without shuttering a muscle. She is the most loving, nurturing, caring woman to anyone she’s met. Jay is a hardworking single mother of three, my two brothers and I. Every day was filled with laughs and smiles, hugs and kisses, and the best advice on earth. She gave everything to us. She has never held back for herself in my entire 20 years of life. She worked at Scheel’s in Rapid City, South Dakota for several years before her world was flipped upside down. My mom was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in October of 2024. She tried to hide it at first, to shelter us from the heartbreak it was soon to cause. She has fought day and night to battle the pain she endured every single day.With the battle she’s fighting, she can no longer work. My older brother Jake Rivers has presumed taking care of her full-time. My little brother is not yet old enough to work, and I work as much as possible. Bills are piling up and we have run out of savings. It is with uttermost humility and sincerity I ask for your help in this difficult time.
