On July 4th, my brother-in-law, Mike Claridge, and mother-in-law, Marcia, were hit head-on by a drunk driver, who then fled the scene. The driver was caught, but our family lost our beloved Marcia five days later. Mike was banged up badly. He has a fracture in a vertebrae, a broken rib, severe cuts on his arm and neck and his leg was the worst. He's had one operation on the shin that was broken. He's laid up and non-weight-bearing on the leg so the lower leg can heal before they do the next surgery - total knee replacement. Would you help Mike out? Recovery time from injuries this awful - you never know how long that's going to take. And then the legalities of getting everything through - that's another unknown. But he has bills that need to be taken care of NOW. The normal living expenses of utilities and food when you don't know how long you won't be able to work is bad enough to worry about. Put on top of that the necessary medical help, surgeries, etc that he needs that aren't covered... Please help Mike be able to concentrate on healing by sending a donation. When my husband, Mike's brother, called him to see if it would be alright with him if we set this up, he didn't want us to, at first. He's an independent, strong man, who is always giving and serving. He would much rather GIVE than RECEIVE.
