For those who have been following us from the start and those just now joining in, we are Michigan State University's first ever club football team. What's club football you may ask? It's a football league no different from the varsity with full pads, full contact football. But to the men who are on the team it means much, much more. While most athletes will never play another down after high school, this club team has allowed us to once again be a part of a sport we are all very passionate about. It's a second chance to suit up and be able to once again play the game we love. After a 2-0 start with defining wins over Ohio State and the previously undefeated defending champs Oakland University, our season is off to a very strong start. However, the downside to being a club team is we receive no financial support from Michigan State and everything that has happened so far has been the product of nothing more than player funding. That being said, our upcoming games involve a trip to Flint and a near 5 hour trip to Miami (Ohio) Univeristy. As such, there are additional expenses to pay for such as bus/travel costs and hotel costs as well. The goal of this page is to raise funds for the aforementioned additional expenses. Even if only $1, any and all donations are hugely appreciated as it allows us to continue playing our game and supports our team's journey on our way to the national championship!
