Most Kansas Citians have seen Michael Wheeler (the man in the cape) running downtown or around the K or in timed races. Most don't also realize that Michael is down in Westport most nights of the week telling the partiers, and all the people of the world, that God loves them. Michael out-preached the Westboro Baptist Church people outside of Sprint Center, as a matter of fact, and they left because of Michael and his following.Michael ran his laps around each state's capitol years ago and wants to do it again, one last time. Michael has ran and preached in New York City (even at the World Trade Center one year before the collapse), Joplin, MO (months before the deadly tornadoes), and onto Baltimore, Ferguson and D.C. after the civil unrest. Michael is praying for all of us on his runs and visits. He is showing to the nation, and the WORLD, what peaceful protests and loving Christianity is all about.Michael does all of his good deeds on his own dime and whatever donations he might receive. Let us Kansas Citians, runners, Chiefs fans, Royals fans... All of us who have seen Michael and smiled, let us help him fulfill this calling to travel the nation and spreading the good word in the most loving and unique way.
