Virgie Walker was an amazing woman, witty and full of life until her very last days. She passed away peacefully at home under the care of Hospice and loved ones on October 16th.Her last wishes stated that she did not want a funeral, so in lieu of formal arrangements we will be commemorating a park bench in her name at one of her favorite parks. Virgie loved nature and the outdoors, and this will be a wonderful way to honor her memory.The money we raise will be donated to the Fox Valley Park District for bench installation and maintenance. Virgie was loved by so many people, we just want to give those who loved her a chance to be a part of this. All donations will be greatly appreciated. Donations over our goal of $1,100 will be used to help her family with the cost of final arrangements.
