Hey everyone, as most of you are aware, Mom had carpel tunnel surgery in March 2015 and has had no use of her arm ever since. Doctors have run various tests and she has completed physio therapy with no improvment in the mobility of her hand or arm. She has been unable to return to work and the financial strain is becoming very evident and my siblings and I want to try and help as much as we can. She's travelling several times a week to the hospital which can become costly. She recently had to go to Corner Brook for a bone scan where the doctor told her she was losing bone density in her arm from not being able to use it. Now they are referring her to St. John's for a second opinion and more testing to see if there is anything at all they can do for her....She not only has no use of her arm, but she suffers from severe pain from her shoulder to her hand which require several medications for pain management. Even the medication hasn't been helping at all with the pain. The money will be used to aid in any finances needed for the trip to St. John's, i.e any medications needed, accomodations, gas, meals etc. This will mean the world to my family if we can help my mom get the treatment and medical attention she needs.
