A few short months ago, our family found out my sisters husband Scott has liver failure and he has been in and out of the hospital ever since. He was admitted back this week, but sadly this time was put in ICU on a vent. Lastnight Scott went into surgery to get a stent put in his liver in an attempt to prolong his life enough to be able to receive a liver transplant. The Dr. informed us that there was only a 5% chance he’d make it through this procedure. By the grace of God he survived it and will now be able to be airlifted to Dallas and hopefully heal enough to get a liver transplant. They left at 9:30 because of a major storm and Ragann will be on her way shortly to be with him. Ragann has been the only source of income since and he had been so ill. They’re in the process of getting him on disability and Medicaid or Medicare to ease the medical financial burden it has placed them in, but it’s a long process. We are desperately asking for help. They have a 15 year old son at home and for her travels she will need food, gas, and her bills at home won’t stop. It is extremely humbling to be in a situation to have to ask for help and totally out of our norm to do so, but if you find it in your heart to help them out, any little bit will be extremely helpful during this time. More than anything please keep Scott, Ragann, and Jaxen in your prayers. Thank you❤️
