My name is Tiffany Albertson and I am trying to raise money for travel and medical expenses for my mother who recently found out her breast cancer has metastasized. I want to try and help raise some money to help cover costs so that way she can just focus on beating cancers butt once again. Ten years ago my mom Dollie Albertson was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to go to Spokane to do her radiation and after being all cleared and living life to her fullest she recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary of being cancer free... Shortly, a few months later they had found a lump in her lung and thought that it may be lung cancer but she would have to travel for a surgery outside of Alaska. Earlier this month my mom and dad had traveled to Spokane to have a surgery where they would remove part of the lobe. After surgery her lung had kept leaking so she had to under go yet another surgery where they added a second tube in her chest. After spending a week in the hospital she was finally released to go home while they await the news of the pathology report. July 3rd, 2024 they received the pathology report and it was not lung cancer, but then our worst fears came to light and found out that the breast cancer she was diagnosed with 10 years ago has metastasized which means that the cancer is spreading throughout her body. Now, my mom has to travel back and forth from her home in Alaska to Washington to do her first round of chemo that way the can make sure that her body doesn't react the chemo. Then if it goes smoothly she will be going back to Alaska to be able to finish her chemo. After the chemo is completed she will have to travel back down to Washington to do radiation. My family could use any amount to help with travel expenses and medical as this is piling up on then quickly. I would appreciate any help to help make this easier on my parents they are not ones to ask for any help from others so I am asking for your help to help make things easier for them. Thank you! And please pray for her to beat this. She beat it once and I am hopeful she will beat this again.
