I have been asked to go on an mission trip to India. We are going to a city of 6 million people, of which 3 million live in slums. Valley Church has been involved in India since 2001. Some people are going over for spiritual mission. I am going over with a few people on the medical side of things. There is a children’s program so their medical needs are met. My role with the team will be a medical provider focusing on physical exams on children. We will leave on January 1 and return on January 10. The flights to get to India takes over 20 hours. Though many may never personally go, you can have a role in this trip by considering financially joining with others in sponsoring me. The cost for my travel/hotel/food/visa and contribution to bring in the Indian conference attendees is $3700. I am personally contributing money.
